Day 2: Don't Fail Me Darko

So I was up all last night (technically this morning) being a music slut and downloading a barrel of artists that I have not heard before. There's a giant "liking" spree on my Facebook history. If one were to stalk properly, they would detect a major pattern in all of the artists I boasted my liking to. Damn near all of them were folk artists.

So do to the abundance of new folk artists in my music library and now in my ears, I would have sworn that today's song would be of that genre. But the problem came to be that there were so many songs of the same genre, that they all kind of blended together and no one song came out of my headphones, crawled through my ears, entered my brain, and found a good neuron to rent out for the day.

Then at about three o'clock in the morning, I decided to check my Facebook news feed (which is a gold mine for new music if you actually pay attention. I know I didn't before just recently.) and my friend, Frankie, posted a metal song that caught my attention. Due to the nonstop banjos, ukuleles, and accordions seeping into my body, the double bass drums and heavy guitar stuck out like Waldo. Not to mention the song was worthy enough for me to go out of my way to not only download it, but to look up other songs by the same artist.

Therefore, your daily dose of song today goes to "Don't Fail Me Darko" by Here Comes the Kraken. Thanks to my dear friend, Frank.
