Today's been a day of calamity. I went out for a walk. I drank some tea. I sunbathed and soaked in the warm weather. And as I was lying in the grass enjoying the comfort of the outdoors, I closed my eyes and a song began playing in my head. I was suddenly inspired. It was like I've just taken a drug that made me aware of my whole body and all the beauty that surrounded me. I completely forgot about what it was like to have pain or fear. I took in a deep breath and as I exhaled, it was as if the very music, the words, spilled out from my lips and floated away in the wind. It was like blowing on a dandelion and each of the seeds carried a note.
"You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet, still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet." - Franz Kafka
Of course, I did leave my room, but this moment reminded me of this quote.
So... now that you've heard my double rainbow moment... here is the song that made it happen.
